Are These Indications of a good first Date?

Hi everyone, so I would appreciate some insight into this hinge date I went on yesterday.
I met this guy on hinge on May 16th, and we chatted a bit about different things but mainly about travelling experiences; so on May 18th, he asked if I wanted to go out for coffee and we could meet up and chat a bit, so I agreed but did mention to him I was a bit busy with work.
So I did not respond until May 30th, and we then agreed to meet on Sunday, but then he messaged me saying he was going out of town for work, so if we could meet on Friday so yesterday.
I agreed, so we decided on a 7 pm meetup at a board game cafe; so we were there from 7 pm-11 pm, and we chatted about life, family and everything in between, and the conversation flow was fantastic, and there was a lot of laughter as well. We then played two board games, and he paid for the date.

Towards the end, as we went our separate ways, he explained that he would be out of town for a few weeks due to a work assignment but that we could continue messaging one another.
He also asked if I would like to go out again when he returned, and I said sure I would like to do that.
He then explained that he was unsure if he wanted to be in a relationship as it's been quite a few years for him and that he had struggled to feel butterflies now that he is 30 but that he likes to take things slow.

That was the end of our date, and I hadn't heard from him but then I had a good time, so I sure hope we meet up again.

Anyhow are these indications of a reasonable first date? I'm not a dating expert, so overall I'm always lost.

I'm 25, and he is 30.
