I've been dating this guy for 3, 1/2 months and I'm still no closer to really knowing where we're going. I asked him about us and he said we're still getting to know one another. ... we both met on a dating site and we are both looking for a serious relationship.
We see each other most days and talk for hours. We've been having a sexual relationship.
Part of me doesn't want to wait 6 months before I know where I stand. He keeps telling me he doesn't want to make the wrong decisions or make mistakes, and that we shouldn't get connected too quick. But then he contradicts what he says by calling me for hours or inviting me round the next day.
My patience is wearing thin because I feel like he's just keeping me hanging on.

I think he is getting all the benefits of exclusivity when we're not technically in a relationship.
