Girls, I need your advice please! This girl I like who I believe likes me too has brought up her past couple guys she has dated in conversation, but refers to them as a “friend”, yet I know they are dating (they’ve been short term relationships). She is currently dating some guy of less than a month.
For reference, she got out of a long term relationship the beginning of this year, and I just very recently finalized a divorce which was a bad marriage.
She has known for months I was getting divorced and seems interested in me, or at least I think she is based on how she’s interacted with me more and more leading up to the finalization of my divorce.
So girls, what would be your reason for referring to the guy you are dating as simply a “friend” when talking to another guy? Thank you for your advice!
