My friend ruined my relationship (details). Should I explain myself to him?

My friend texted to test my flirt (potential boyfriend) to test him via fake profile, and then sent their messages to me. But I didn’t know that was my friend doing that. I just broke up with a guy and sent him screenshot of the message I got. And he left me, blocked me after calling me a psychopath because he thought it was me doing it. It has been 3days, now my another friend tells me that she wants to send a message to this guy explaining everything and she will do it like I don’t know about her writing him. I don’t want to have any relationship with this guy anymore, but I don’t want to known as this kind of person. Do you think he will believe if my friend send a message explaining everything to him? Or do you have better options?

He called you a psychopath. You don't need someone capable of calling someone that.

No matter how angry I got, I never called her anything means, I wasn't going to live with myself for saying something hurtful, and I would have only done it so I could hurt her as she hurt me. And that doesn't solve any problems, just makes more.
