How can someone do this if they love you?

Been w/ my girlfriend for about five years and just a month before my bday we were having sex and I got up to go pee. It burned i kept it to myself and got tested. I thought it was a UTI because no way I thought my girlfriend would cheat on me. I got my results and i told her immediately that I had chlamydia. Her face looked shocked. She asked how? Have I been w/ anyone and i haven’t I asked her the same she says no. But she wasn’t super upset but she was you know. she cried really bad that week in the bathroom. I thought it was me but it was probably her guilt. I’m so stupid I thought that it could lie dormant for years and she went along with it. Either way she got tested but told me she was negative i never saw her results only what she said. I now spoke to someone at the clinic and they say it can’t last long without causing damage internally. I look at her differently and I’m planning on leaving just ghosting her. She really looked me in the eyes and has just been lying but again it’s my fault. makes sense how she always would pick fights and just want to leave me and when I’m around women she gets jealous.
