Few weeks ago, I was on my way home in a bus. One male and one female was sharing their lives horror stories. They were not drunk but based on their looks, raggy clothes and voice, I could easily tell they were poor alcoholics, but rich in heart beyond measure. The male was telling how he is greatful for loyalty and not submitting to crime unless is to save someones life. The other was talking about how she was the first and only visitor in prison for her husband, who is in jail for attemting to kill his wife.
I do not know if that is exactly how it went but that is what she said. I cannot even imagine any modern day humans to have the Jesus Christ level of forgivness. Hearing this story made me wonder is she ahead of the human evolution, a spirit that cannot be broken or is she just a lier or just psychotic. Either way, that story got me to stop and think.
One thing I do know, is that forgiving the one you love is way easier than forgiving someone you hate.
What's the worse you can forgive to the one you love the most?
Yeah. I know I should’ve filed charges and had her sent to prison, but I chose not to. I don’t know. I guess I was just frozen with fear and trauma. And it’s not like I didn’t have witnesses. My dad witnessed, but chose to do nothing.
