this happen to me a while back with someone I was interested in dating i may have had a bad approach but we stayed in contact, but this person kept me thinking she liked me but had many excuses to why she couldn't date at the moment. she said her parents are over protective, she was really busy with school. while I saw her social media she was out living her life it just didn't add up. then one day I saw her in person with another guy and she thought I didn't see her so she came back wearing a different out fit and brought her mom to play it off. I confronted her about is and she kept denying it. after that trust was broken and I stopped talking to her but never forgot the feelings she left me with. this was really painful because I believed everything she said and sadly this has ruined my life I won't trust anyone anymore not even my closest friends and I have closed my self up because I'm afraid of getting hurt.. so I want to know why someone would lead someone on? I think its selfish, mean and toxic.
