I went on a 2nd date with a guy. He bought the first round of drinks then I bought the 2nd round. When it came to the 3rd round I could tell he was expecting me to pay. As I was about to pay, he mentioned it was his turn to pay, but he still didn't buy the round. So I did

Did he take advantage or am I overthinking?

I stress out when my girlfriend tries to pay for drinks or meals. Guess i'm just old-fashioned.

Sometimes she'll pretend she's going to the toilet, and actually run to the bar and pay... coming back with a huge grin on her face... d'oh!

That's the sort of thing I'd do too 😂I'd never take advantage of sometimes kindness by expecting them to pay every time. I'd feel too guilty.

On our first date, we paid for a round each. Just wasn't sure if he wasn't taken advantage or not. I'd never use him but I'd hate to be used

yeah, I should have. We stood at the bar and he moved back behind me. When the server asked what we were having, he lookedcaway and stood back further. I should have been assertive.
