How is a guy supposed to approach a girl these days?

I’m almost 27 now and in all my time, I’ve never really picked up on other peoples social understandings. Social cues. Social constructs. Ideally, someday very soon I’ll meet someone whom I come to find that I can trust to build a life with. unfortunately, I don’t know where to look or how to find someone like that. There are no social opportunities that I know of that can lead to something like that. The culture in my country discourages men from approaching women at all. You can’t talk to them. You certainly shouldn’t touch them. In fact, men in my culture are made to feel like they probably shouldn’t even look in a woman’s general direction. So ladies, for my sake and for all the guys out there who have been respectful and considerate enough to play this confusing game, how do we approach you? What do we talk about? What do you want? And when I ask what you want, I don’t want to hear those things that society tells you that you’re supposed to want. Tell me what would actually attract you. Thanks in advance.

I meant like hobbies, like go on dancing class, gym, whatever you like or are interested to do/learn
also talk to people and ask them how they met their significant other and get the idea how it can be done in you country
