How often should we be texting? Will she lose interest if I don't Keep the conversation going?

I met this girl and we gone on 4 dates and still didn't confess to her. We always flirt when we get the chance and she's comfortable around me and always say that. But she rarely initiate texts and never ask to meet up so sometimes i doubt if she's interested or not. Should i always text her to keep her interested or is it normal not to text her for a week.
Ps: she told me once that she hate texting, i don't know if is it a way to avoid my texts or is it true

Just be yourself if she doesn’t accept you move on to the next Girl till eventually you find the girl that accepts you as you are.
