For over a year I’ve been very close friends with a guy from my same major. We’re in a mutual friend group, have all of our classes together, and all hang out a bunch. For the last 4 months of our friendship there’s definitely been tension between us, but I can’t tell if he’s just being a flirt/finds me attractive or if he has feelings for me.
He’s always teasing me, lightly punching me, he gets weird when I start talking to other guys, and I don't know the eyes say it all.. you can just tell when someone’s into you or thinks you’re cute. We would hang out a bunch just the two of us last year but it was always just “as friends,” but he was always much flirtier when we were alone and then it would slightly subside with our friend group. It kinda annoyed me that nothing escalated but I felt like he didn’t want to cross lines as my friend.
But this last weekend was the first time we drank together, and things escalated a bit. We were teasing most the night but after about 10 minutes of dancing with our friends at one bar, we slowly progressed to just dancing with each other, him behind me grinding on me you could say. He was holding my waist, then holding my hand tightly, and we were just very very close including our faces. I even gave him a small kiss on the cheek which I regret haha. But we kept dancing and he kept holding me. He and his friend were even grinning at eachother and at one point I saw them share a light fist bump while we were dancing together. We had to stop dancing because our friend was having a problem, but afterwards he acted like nothing happened. He didn’t even seem fazed. Just business as usual. We talked a bit today but it’s just weird, nothing seems different. We are graduating this semester and he’s moving, so he has said in months prior that he doesn’t want to start anything and end up getting attached or having another person getting attached since he’s leaving, but I don't know.
