Would you ditch a friend’s wedding because you would see someone that might have asked you out but didn’t?

I have been invited to a wedding by a friend from work but I don't know if I want to go. The thing is I finished working there about a month ago. So its very nice he invited me however im not sure im comfortable going. Because I had thought another guy from the same office was going to ask me out but he didn’t despite flirting with me. He said we would “Talk” however I think he changed his mind as he got sick and said it was a shame. I just felt that he lost interest because I left work despite being in the same city. So I moved on, however not so much that ı was ready to see him in a wedding.
