Would you interpret it as genuine, as in they still like you but just need to sort themselves out (even though they’re on tinder looking for “fun, not a relationship”? Or would you see it as them subtly telling you to move on and date others like they are, because false hope doesn’t feel as horrible to them as straight up honesty?
Ex said “maybe we can get back together once I’ve sorted myself out. But I wouldn’t expect you to wait as you’re too nice to be single”?

It’s so hard to say. They may be genuine. You know his past. Do you see a pattern of sincerity?
I do think he’s sincere, yes. He does have some things to apart out. But at the same time I think he may also want to date others to see what’s what. I don’t know.
Watch cautiously. I wish people would be straight-up... at leas tI could respect them. In politics too... everything. Waste of time !
