I'm asking for a friend? Seemingly nowadays, guys want to rush 9/10 I'm gone of a guy keeps asking me something I said I don't do. What's the deal with modern men? [ I don't date modern men ]. It irritates me with dating nowadays..

Girl : Talks to a guy online.
Guy : Can we exchange numbers?
Girl : Sure [ Exchanges numbers]
Guy : Chats with girl after 24 hours [ Initates meeting girl at his place]
Girl : Meets guy less then 48-72 hours.
Guy : It's a date at his place they Netflix and chill.

What's wrong with this as a traditional woman.

🚫No courting involved.
🚫She's meeting a total stranger at his house and barely knows him [ Safety risk, who meets people at their houses ]
🚫 Nextfil and chill isn't a date not for a formal meet and greet.
✅️A man may initiate a formal date, but the woman feels comfortable preceeding moving forward with the invitation under her digression normally after the getting to know stage.

I would say gentlemen are a dieing species mainly because back in the day being a gentleman was the way to go. Women expected it men didn´t question it since it was the only way to get a woman.

Nowadays it´s dieing out because there are other options. Guys ask themselves why should I pay about 200/300 dollars or euros, time and energy and effort for series of dates to get a girl if I also can get a woman way quicker and cheaper?

The problem is the change of modern daying culture that guys that invest way less often times get to have sex quicker or have success with more women that seems more pleasing than our gentleman guy that goes on dates with one woman at a time figuring out at date 4 or 5 that it´s not working.

From a guy´s perspective the dating culture leads to frustration for more guys that call themselves gentlemen than guys that obviously lead a bad boy imaged life. It may not go well for long but it´s the visible success for the guys that call themselves gentleman struggling with dating which makes being a gentleman less attractive.

We live in a rushed culture in every part of life. Many people can´t leave the house without their phone and get worried if they don´t have any notifications on their phone. Why should it be the different in dating?

Since the upcoming of online-dating things get rushed even more and women as well like to do things quicker. Times changed in a way that a gentleman is often seen as wimp or pushover or is qualified as a nice guy.

I completely agree though that I also would get suspicious if a possible partner would invite me to their place right away. That would go too quickly for me, too, not to mention how early it´s all about sex.

But some people get to have sex early nowadays so it seems like a possible way to go and guys also go by the example of other guys. Meaning if all guys I know had sex on the third date and it´s reasonable to expect sex after three dates...

They were killed off. A lot the men i know treat other women that aren't like their wife, daughter, sister or mother just like any other man. Like my father or grandfather for instance still open doors or will help a woman change a tyre but younger men will not. They keep everything professional when at work with other women, won't joke or befriend them. The reason is they are too afraid of false allegations.

The scenario you describe is basically every man but you have to set boundaries and this is a great way to weed out guys who are only intrested in casual sexual relationships.

First date should not be a neflix and chill, should be maybe a coffee or getting an ice cream at the park. I feel like people don't date right anymore the way our parents and grandparents did. It seems to all focus on a meal at an expensive restaurant where the woman has to dress up fancy and interrogates the man and the man kind of half expects sex based on how much he has spent.

What happened to going for a long walk or a cycle or a hike or the fair or rollerblading or ice-skating or wall climbing or the beach or a home cooked meal?

I've experienced girls who were seeking to rush things, fast track things, its very off-putting.

However the key difference is that the girl is seeking to fast track from initial conversation to relationship, while I suspect guys inviting a girl over to his place is seeking to fast track to sex.

No. They're just where all the ladies are.

Unfortunately so many women are ok with men not being gentlemen now-a-days. Women used to shun men that didn't act right. Now they give them a pass. I think many women actually like to compete with men now-a-days to be outrageous. So many women here actually proudly display how loose they are.

Since good guys are so short handed, they usually have no trouble finding a good girl and end up marrying pretty early on. That's just my personal observation.
