Guys, Does this sound too desperate for a woman?

RP12345

A coworker (from another location who visits office once/ twice a month) looks at me with the kindest eyes. And smiles when he is looks. I think he wanted to talk but I got all awkward and did not make any eye contact. I must have made him feel like I am not interested so now I want to reach out and be honest that I have a crush on him too. I want to ask him because I am leaving the company in 2 weeks. How does the below sound? Too desperate?

''Hope you are well. It's awkward reaching out to you on LinkedIn but I did not want to use professional communication for something that is personal in nature and I don't know if our paths will cross. At the risk of acute embarrassment, I am going to put myself out there. I may be completely wrong here so I apologise if that is indeed the case. Sorry about not acknowledging you throughout the evening of company social. I will be very honest with you; I really wanted to talk to you but somehow I just couldn't! I suppose I have gotten a bit rusty and awkward about things like this and my body language must have been completely off. So unless I am completely mistaken, I want you to know that the way you look at me makes me smile. Therefore, if you would like, I would love to keep in touch. My email address is...@gmail. com so do write to me if you would like it too. If not, that's okay too! Any embarrassment will eventually wear off; I am pretty good with shaking things off :D

Best wishes'''
