Guys, have you ever had single women flirt with you, pursue you, or make the first move towards you, in the dating world before?

Regardless of looks, you being straight or gay, or you being single or married, have you ever had single unattached women make the first move on you, express interest in you first, flirt with you, or romantically pursue you before? Doesn't matter if it's for dating/a relationship, or sex alone.

I'm technically option B, but it feels more like option A, because besides one woman (the late love of my life), literally EVERY other woman who has ever expressed interest in me were bisexual, and I have zero interest whatsoever in being with a lesbian/gay chick. They're as much of a turn-off/dealbreaker/impossibility as the gay men are, and plenty of them have pursued interest in me too. I have the WORST f*cking luck, when it comes to dating, as you can see. All the queer people are into me, but not more than one straight female has ever pursued interest.

Yeah, are here are some observations: the more attractive the woman, the more subtle her flirting/first move is. The less attractive, the more personable and the more tactile. The older, the more comfortable they seemed with flirting and the more skilled they were at conveying it. Some younger women seem a bit reticent.

It may have happened once a few years ago in the gym, I think.

Basically, one time, I were on the treadmill and some girl came on the one next to mine.

Me and her used to use the treadmill all the time.

What happened, was I were using a treadmill and her twin used one a space from mine and she came in between, right next to mine (almost like it was planned out) and whilst I were just focused on my cardio, I'm pretty sure she was looking at me and smiling (I could sense from the corner of my eye), as if she wanted me to initiate a conversation and I just stood there and focused on my thing, pretending like I didn't know.

Whilst I don't know for certain, I'm pretty sure she was trying to make a move, so if I were a gambling man, I'd bet that it was some kind of interest.

Despite that, I do think there's a SMALL possibility that she was just fascinated by me in general, because think about this:

I come from a Pakistani background and a lot people where I'm from are South Asian anyway, including her and I don't look or act like the stereotypical version of people of my culture, like I wear tights in the gym, I have long hair, I'm always doing the splits and I think she was kind of fascinated and talking about it with her twin when she first saw me do it or about me in general once or twice after that.

When I'm out in public, I do tend to get attention anyway, mostly because some people of my own culture are nosy, can't mind their own business and will stare at you as if they've never seen another person of their own culture before.

A lot of people assume I'm homosexual, because I fit the stereotype based off of how I look, like I get that I have quite a distinct look, but it's kind of rude to stare and one time some girl gave me a creepy smile when I walked past her (I looked away and then looked back and she was still staring).

Anyway, back to the gym thing, I kind of regret it, because who know what may have happened if I made a move on her or at least talked to her, like I don't even think the girl is the most attractive compared to others, but if I feel like someone is into me, I'm automatically into them or have some kind of fascination with them and whilst she's always doing cardio, I feel like I've potentially missed a good chance, but then again, I'm one of the few people of my race that isn't religious (Muslim) and she more than likely is and I have a long-term mindset, so it may not have worked out anyway.

Still though, there are certain days in the gym where I do see her, like 4x a week and I just feel comfortable knowing she's there, mostly because if I feel like some girl is into me, I'm more into her and it's been years since the opportunity happened and I doubt I'll get another chance.

Now though, she probably thinks I'm a homosexual anyway (still go the long hair, ears are pierced and eyebrows are thinner), because when I'm in the gym, I'm always wearing leggings and on two of the four days I tend to see her, I wear really short shorts, so it's kind of the nail in the coffin as if the coffin isn't already buried.

I'd say I have more often been pursued, approached etc than I myself have done that part. And besides I feel that even if I make the first move half the time she helped set it up anyway. I also recall from a little survey done back in my highschool, talk about scentifically accurate, that the majority of relationships here were initiated by the girl.

There is still an expectation for us guys to do things first but, I feel reality often disagrees with expectation.

I have had like 2 to 3 do so, but I think the reason that happened was because I showed intent and flirty banter to open that idea.

It happens often enough I guess and it doesn't make me see them in some negative light. however, when when some of these women show too much interest and there is a large imbalance, I subconsciously lose interest even if I didn't intend to. Yes, some have pursued me both for a relationship and for a hook-up. In my experience, even when declining their advances gently and politely, it is very common for a woman to not handle rejection well at all.
