How do you know when to cut the cord on someone you are talking to?

I met this guy on tinder, we have been talking for a couple months and both discussed wanting a relationship. For context ( we’ve never met never sent nudes)
I’m not saying this is bad necessarily. But I feel he isn’t serious about us and I don’t know if I should pull the plug. I did like him when we first talked and we called once and it lasted a couple hours with a lot of chemistry. But it feels like things have gone dry before they have begun. He told me he’s depressed and struggling with motivation and so on in life which is why I’ve given him grace and more time and patience. But now I’m wondering if it’s worth it to wait it out and see where things go or if I should cut my losses and end it.

It’s a game you want to play at your risk. Find someone that is close to you or gives you attention you need. It’s a kind act to be there for him but after all you’ve invested your energy, it’s all good If you get some love back but if you don’t. You’ll regret for the time and energy.

1. Talk on the phone at least once

2. two weeks of you won’t meet I’m out of here

3. progress towards something if that’s what your looking for. If you just want to just hookup whatever, if it’s a relationship make sure you progress towards that

I think you should move on. Never wait on someone to take their shit together- it might never happen or they find someone else while you waiting for them. If he has depression then its a fight he needs to do it on his own. You can't make someone happy. They need to be happy themselves.
