I love strong smart sexy women. They know what they want and aren’t afraid to make it known. For me that’s preferable to someone that doesn’t know or say what they want. Ok, first of all. Other people said it but I'll say it as well. I'm not "intimidated" by anyone. You could bring me a 2M (I'm 1.73CM myself), 110KG (I'm 70KG) super muscular woman and I could beat her at any time... So no, I'm not scared or feel like she's dominating me. Now, to answer your question, I don't have a problem with a "strong" woman. Hell, my mother is what I would consider a strong women and she's HELLA attractive (please, just don't make incest jokes...). The thing is that I don't want extremes! Normally, I like my woman to be cute and sweet (regardless of physical appearance). "Hello honey", "Welcome home dear, do you want dinner?", cuddles, kisses, etc.
Of course, the chemistry can be worked of. If she's physically bigger than me, that "Welcome home dear" can become "Welcome home baby (or sweaty)". And I can call her "mommy" (lol) if it works for her. My point is, everything can work if you put the effort but we must be able to "chance" our "style" depending on the situation.
But with that been said, here comes my trust issues regrading "strong women". I was grown to believe that EVERY woman wants a man that is stronger that her. I'm personally not what you'll call a "boy" but I'm also not what you'll call a "rock". So I don't believe that they'll be any "strong" woman that will want to be with me. It just don't work in my mind.
Another problem would be her personality. I do not want my girl to be confused about how she would treat me (and other people around us). There is a difference between "not taking any shit", "been strong where you need to" and getting work done, etc. and with setting your personality to be "dominant" and wanting to have control over everything. I want my partner to trust me and I want to be the one who makes the choices. I want my woman to sleep in my solders and by completely relaxed when she's with me. That's one of the most common complains you'll find by guys in regards of strong women. This also makes sense of women who work demanding jobs like a CEO where they need to be of control of everything and know everything. That's one part of your life. But can you be the cute wife when you are back on home and trust me?
Another thing is MONEY. The strong women most of the times have good jobs (not always as "strong" has to do with your personality but most of the times) and most of the times, we see them wanting someone who gets more. So would they want me again? To add on that, I just want a simple life with a simple job, a small house, a simple life (with some "excitement" here and there ;) and maybe a kid. I don't want to constantly "evolve" (words I used specifically because you used it in your post) and having to work harder and harder to make her respect me. I love getting a better person when it comes to my behavior and personality but not when it comes to my performance. ESPECIALLY when it comes to money. I HATE the competitive world that's out there when it comes to make money. I just want something simple and I want to have more time to enjoy my life and my family. So in the end, will I get respected or seen as less from my strong wife?
I am not intimidated by strong sexy women, actually I think they are more the type I am attracted to. I think that with more assertive strong women, there is more chance to play off each other because I am generally more reserved and throughout my life I have had pleasant interactions with more assertive women. A so called "strong independent woman" is usually anything but and is just trying to mask her insecurity and failures through a thin veneer of machismo, ironically being the very kind of "toxic masculinity" she claims exists and is bad. A strong women would be courteous and would not need to be handled because she can handle herself. Being with a strong women is peaceful.

My guy friends always tell me they’re in love with me and it’s so sweet but also kind of sucks. I love my friends immensely, as I should since I’ve known many of them for over 20 years. The term "strong woman" has the same problem as the term "curvy woman." If you take it for what the words REALLY mean, then of COURSE it's a great thing. The problem is the way it's used rarely means what the words are supposed to mean. Just as "curvy woman" has come to mean "morbidly obese with more weight in fat rolls than boobs and no waist to speak of" the term "strong woman"--ESPECIALLY when self-applied--has come to mean "self-centered, entitled, loud, disagreeable, harridan."
But ACTUAL strong women, as with ACTUAL curvy women are very highly valued.
I do find that being submissive sexually is a sign of a strong and sexy woman, i don't see the separation you see. I have noticed that all of the "strong sexy women", and" intelligent independent women" posts always come from older women...30 or more. They are actually the nice guy equivalent-women in the dating market. The majority of men and women like neither and they often end up with each other.
But If I am fair enough that I would say it's okay to be like that, you have to find submissive guys and at your age, you will be in tough competition with younger girls. Many guys don't like the too-outgoing types of girls when it comes to serious relationships, as they tend to treat men badly and are kinda slutty to wife up... but everyone is different...
and again this choice of words. why do women so heavily gravitate to the word "intimidation" when talking about a thing that men may not prefer? like aren't there other legitimate ways to not prefer a thing other than "intimidation"? why do women always pick this word? no i do not think men are "intimidated" by that. though some men may not prefer it as some men do prefer playing the dominate role out of preference for that. as you probably know men are not a homogenous mass of people who all like the exact same things, so preferences will vary.
I think intimidation is a perfect word! I’m a strong independent woman, always sweet and always spicy. When I come across a strong willed male where chemistry exists I do sometimes get intimidated. I fear I start thinking with my hormones verse my brain. Which is where my second motto comes in…always masturbate before a date!!! 💗

But I wasn’t speaking of myself. I’m speaking the fears men have. I’ve heard men say quite a few times that they fear they aren’t good enough for me. To which I’m surprised bc I know I’m strong, independent and confident. But I’m not cock or conceded at all. I don’t place myself on any type of pedestal so I’m confused why some men fear they’re inadequate for me. I don’t get it. This is what I’m trying to understand! I’d like to be able to calm their fears but I need to fully understand them first. When I’m dating someone that’s insecure about themselves and their own wonderful potentials it never works out. I don’t mind reassuring them for awhile but eventually it gets old.
Women mistaking revulsion for intimidation is classic copium. It's what you tell yourselves to feel better at night, regardless of whether or not it's true. Men are not "intimidated" by "strong" women. We find them repulsive. There's a difference.
To each his/her own!!! However, being strong-willed doesn’t mean you’re not easy going. It just means you stand up for what matters most. Believe me, it doesn’t matter where we’ll go to eat or what we’ll watch, the big picture is most important and what’s focused on. Many strong women are extremely easy going bc they understand that the small things don’t matter! Most also know how to enjoy themselves and their self derived happiness spills over on to those around them!!!

Where are they? "Strong AND sexy?" I know many who put on the strong act... and I don't know 1 guy I've talked with who thinks being consistently bossy, rude and entitled is sexy. 🙄I've personally run into hundreds of em on jobs. I believe you’re confusing strong and independent with bossy and toxic. No one’s intimidated by the bossy type women, or at least they shouldn’t be. Those type of woman are just annoying and rude.
There’s also many bossy and toxic men out there. I’m not speaking about them, those kinds of men or women, and would never waste my time on any of them.
Of course there are. I've had some. The difference *generally* is that I think guys take for granted a position of authority on most jobs. Most women aren't used to it, so like a rookie cop, or a 3 stripe in the service... they try overly hard to make their bones fast. That's ALWAYS a mistake. Experience usually teaches what works... and what doesn't.
The most respectful woman I've ever met who NO ONE gave a problem to at a job I worked at was a supervisor... and everyone did as she asked, and she'd chat with them. Very nice lady. Her resume? A BA from Notre Dame, followed by 8 years in the Marines. Most of the people I've met who act pushy and wagging their crooked finger at people... are paper pushers who haven't done shit. So they're trying hard to prove something. She didn't have ANYTHING to prove--and she knew it.
I doubt anyone is intimidated by a strong sexy woman. The reason why it's difficult for career women to find a HV man to commit to them is because most of the traits that it takes to climb the corporate ladder are masculine and men don't want masculine women.
No but it's not something I am attracted to either. Why would I value something that is irrelevant to me. Any woman that uses that as an argument is begging to only be pumped an dumped. It's not a problem for you to be independent but it's not the side you should be using when attracting a partner. Because you signal that I have low value, I want to have high value and be appreciated. So you are a bad deal.
Wait so being independent makes you less valuable as a woman? I disagree completely. An independent woman is or at least in my opinion, should be beyond capable of letting go of some of that singular thought when she finds her compliment. I’m not speaking of Independence in a marriage.

I said it lower my value for you, while it doesn't add anything to yours. If I have low value you will treat me worse than a person who value me more. You don't need to prove your independence in a relationship. That what you need between relationships.
Look around you, if people don't get benefits from something they don't value it. And it will easily get replaced. This is why independent people usually end up remaining singles because they get very little back from a relationship, compared to what they need to put in.
Perhaps independent woman just realize they don’t NEED a relationship to be happy. Instead of settling for something they simply wait for the right person to come along. Being alone for any period of time is a beautiful thing! It allows for the much needed moments of self-reflection!
You want HER to support and encourage you…. understandable…. however, is that all one sided? Don’t you want to reciprocate the kindness? Or do you prefer to just lie back and be fed grapes every time you ring your bell? Lol
I prefer strong willed motivated women as long as they can debate important topics logically. Someone who always has to be right is worthless no matter their Gender

I'm not intimidated by a strong woman. I like being dominant a lot of the time, but am also turned-on by having her take control when she is in the mood to.

Women who call themselves strong or sassy are often just arrogant in their rudeness and ignorance in my experience.
I'm an optimizer - I expand the options tree before I start pruning. A decisive decision maker usually determines upon their first thought and I will think them stupid. I will deal with that if they are my boss but can't be bothered with it otherwise.
I agree many sassy women cloak their flaws in self labeled strength. Though I’m not talking about the woman who pretend to be something they’re not. I’m talking about the women that will stay up all night to take care of their sick child, go to work without a moment of sleep, get home in time to clean up and cook dinner for her family and plan her few free moments as she chooses bc she deserves to. The kind of woman that knows what’s important and goes to any length to be happy and see those she loves happy. She’s not afraid to tell the truth even if the lie is more welcomed. A real strong and assertive woman is a breathe of fresh air and makes the lives of those she lives easier by bearing their burdens without being asked to do so. Her expectations may be high but she holds herself to the same high standard.
I did take Strong in a different context to that which you intended. I would certainly respect & honor a woman with those characteristics you describe.

What many don’t understand is that a woman like that is often flooded with one million tasks or requirements she’s taken on for her loved ones. Very few of her busy moments are actually self serving. At least in my experience.
I think submissive women can also be strong, sexy women. If the question is whether I prefer submissive vs dominant women, I’m better matched with submissive women.
