What would our anniversary date be? He never asked “will you be my girlfriend” it just happened so what date can we use?

First date was on 2nd October

We did have a chat about being boyfriend and girlfriend and he said this..

but then in later messages he says “I’m his”

so it’s confusing

do you need to ask someone to be official or can it just happen naturally or when he start telling their friends “she’s my girl”

we even say “love you” to eachother
