So we were long distance and we did love each other. We decided it's best to move on and date others. We still talk. He started dating someone. But when he talks to me he still uses the term of endearment we would call each other. I asked him to stop because it's not fair to the woman he's dating.
Was that wrong of me to do? He also hasn't replied to me asking him to stop. Was he hurt by the request?

You are a high quality person. I find what you did extremely attractive and thoughtful. Truth is, he should have known better 😊
I just didn't think it was fair to her.
But he hasn't replied since I asked him. Why is that?
Some people do not deal with being told their behavior is inappropriate. They take helpfulness that’s in their best interest as an attack. Give him couple weeks.
my nick name was shorty years ago or chevy or bonnie or sebo siob but if u dont like it then yeah tell him to stop it after all its upto you what you want your nickname to be or if u dont want one just tell him
This wasn't the point of my post
but i still made the point if you dont want a nick name then tell him nd its not a bad thing to say
Why are you still "talking" if he is an ex? This is what's unfair to the new people. SMDH.
Well he just started dating her. And he's an ex that I still kept friends with.
Your generation is so fucked up.
