Guys: There's three things most straight women desire in men above all else. Which missing one do you think a woman would tolerate the most?

This post was inspired by this question here. I already have my own ideas on it, but thought it'd make for a fun GAG question.

Ego ("confidence"), height & looks, and social status (money/career/success/popularity) are the three things most straight women want in an ideal man, and some even require them. All three of these things combined, makes the "perfect man." How "low" a modern heterosexual woman is willing to go or downgrade on, depends on the woman, but you can usually only lack one of them to still have a shot. Lack more than one and you're completely SOL.

So men of GAG, I ask you this:
Which of these do you think a woman is most likely to tolerate in a flawed imperfect man?

He's at least six foot+ and good-looking, as well as successful, but insecure with low self-esteem.

He's extremely confident, as well as successful, but short and ugly.

it's definitely not option B. no amount of virtue signaling can turn a lie into the truth.

think about this logically. what sense would it make for any woman to want to possibly end up pregnant by a short ugly dude? so she can have short ugly kids?

height and good looks is rare in men and no woman if presented with this opportunity is gonna squander this.

as far as confidence is concerned, when was the last time an unattractive short dude talked his way into sexual attraction? we've definitely heard of them getting arrested or restraining orders. ugly outside + beautiful inside sounds like straight something out of a fairytale because it is and hey even fairytales make their stances quite clear. Prince Charming gets to show up and "save the day" despite doing jack shit and Quasimodo is still chased after by pitchforks.

I'd say it's a tie between being ugly and broke, although I've seen more women going with broke/financially challenged men than outright ugly ones.

That said, I've also seen quite unattractive men of average financial means attract more attractive women, and that was because they were confident and interesting.

What women usually don't forgive, and people in general take advantage of, are men lacking self-esteem - I'm sorry to be that brutal, but that kind of men are weak and exploitable at best; and inept and untrustworthy, prone to envy, at worst.

Another big thing I would add is "health." You could be all three of these, but you're blind, an amputee, epileptic, have a mental disorder, or something else like that. Your chances can absolutely tank. Especially if what you have is visible or has a stigma. A lot of women just don't see you as a serious option anymore. Not all but, a shocking amount.

Nah, I disagree. That's almost entirely irrelevant. Unless you mean obesity, in which case, that would fall under looks.

Maybe it's different in different places, I am basing this mostly on anecdotal stuff and I only know a few people who fall into this category. After a certain point I think this would shift to confidence because obviously that takes a hit. And if it is something visible maybe sure, it could fall into looks. But I think it's more about ability.

One was previously able-bodied, got disabled, and almost immediately got dumped and rejected way way way more often than they did before. What they and the other few I've talked to have heard most often is that she/he is looking for someone to have fun with, or raise a family with, and they just don't see that happening with the person's condition and them not being able to do some things. One of them with a mental thing has even been told she felt she was taking advantage of him by dating.

It's not impossible, but it definitely seems much harder to get dates if you have a disability or disorder that people see as a big deal.

John Fetterman just got elected as senator of Pennsylvania. And I'm not even going to get into Joe Biden. I don't think most people care anymore about discriminating against the handicapped, unless sex is affected (and even then, it's mostly only men who care).

Maybe it is just a thing in your area, but I've known way more wheelchair, autistic, Asperger's, and mentally retarded (as in, actually special needs) men who were tall, pull more women than healthy men who were short, ugly, or broke. Could just be locale differences, but it's never mattered at all where I used to live; the northeast US. And here in South Korea, I don't even think I've ever seen a physically handicapped person before.
