It would depend on why she disliked her. If not was just normal female cattiness, no problem. If she had a deeper sense of a problem I would listen more acutely.

Not likely. Because while my mom can be a bit flakey about certain things she is a VERY accepting person. So if my mom didn't like her that would give me pause.
