I don’t think it’s anyone’s lost because can’t force an internet or connection if he or she doesn’t feel it’s there. I’d say either they aren’t interested in the person or afraid at the time to make a move. If someone gets upset maybe they actually did like the person bc they were looking forward on seeing them then the person didn’t do what they expected.
Usely it makes people feel no attractive if asking a person out I look at it as better to ask out then never know if a yes let's date even if you know someone first there no way you know for shure even if you ask then out they would date you

Rejection in romantic relationships? No, it's not their loss or your loss. It's just that you two weren't meant for each other. Grow up and think like an adult. They have the right to not be interested in you and you have the right to accept that and vice versa.
Me grow up? You grow up… this post wasn’t about me being rejected. And I only threw out the their loss, because some people get so insecure with themselves. Oh and next time you wanna talk shit, don’t hide behind anon🤣
Considering how cripplingy low my self esteem is, yeah I can't help but feel like it's my loss. Which is why I prefer not asking people out at all. Can't get rejected if you don't try 😎
Which is funny cause rejection in any other sphere doesn't affect me, rejection from a college, rejection from a job application, these don't makee question my worth. But romantic rejection sends me plummeting.
Because it breeds a general feeling of inferiority. When you see and admire something in someone only to have the admiration unreciprocated, the question of "Why am I not enough?" can often quickly move in to seize you by the throat. No one likes to feel as though they just don't measure up and have no hope of ever measuring up.
We are not educated to deal with negatives as a whole. Some people learn to handle and cope, some don't. Rejection is not a loss, but it is a negative and a negative aimed at a sentimental connection, which makes it even powerful

Because people are sooooooooo bored, so we become obsessed with one individual who seems "interesting".
Obsession isn’t healthy for anyone
Yeah, but real life is so gay and idiotic compared to the movies, we'd do anything to find some "meaning" to this idiotic existence.
It's nobody's loss, someone just expressed no interest and the world goes on
I don't get mad if a girl/woman rejects me, I think it's crazy for one to get mad.
I used to care because it hurt a ton and would make me cry, but I've been rejected so much that it does nothing to me anymore lmao
Rejection is a part of life for most people.
Great attitude! I try to think about it the same way but not always successful (And the rejection does not have to be linked with romance)
I’ve been saying time and time again if u feel bad about rejection it’s Because u don’t like yourself to begin with
Because expectation is more than rejection thats why people get upset
I got nothing, I'm too sick today
Aww hope you feel better soon
#Meto I feel like I'm dying (not really) but I have a chest infection and Its a Lou Lou of a cold/Flu
We’ll go get some rest
Most people devote a lot of time, energy, and hope into approaching someone, so a rejection to them is a loss of that investment.
Um what the fuck rejection sucks if you don't know it's because you don't put yourself out there.
it hurts...
