I still think about someone I used to date that has narcissistic traits. Knowing I will never see him again or talk to him again, why would I still think of him a lot. I really wish I can just erase him from my mind completely

It's normal. You dated him, and it will take some time to heal and forget about him. You saved yourself tho. Dealing with narcissists is hard and mentally exhausting.
