I feel like for these past few years it’s been really tricky trying to pinpoint what people desire or want in their lives. I’ll be in the talking stage with someone and things will be going well and we exchange numbers, talk on the phone for a week or so then talk about hanging out and then these people just make excuses for not being able to hangout or meet up. I will say some of these people I met online and I know online isn’t the best place to find a partner from experience too lol. Im attempting to meet people more in real life which has given me more healthier friendships already but I’ve also heard success stories from online dating too but I know that doesn’t work for everyone, still however, I don’t understand why people don’t even wanna try to date anymore or meet in real life, instead they wanna stay lazy behind a phone. Why is this?

a lot of people these days are just afraid of commitment. we have way too many options too so unfortunately people treat others in dating as if they are disposable. if one slightly goes bad they can just go out with another.
Yeah that’s what makes everything harder and unfair to real people who are mature and want to find a genuine relationship. It definitely sucks and it’s frustrating.
yeah as a guy who wants a good genuine relationship i understand how frustrating it must be meeting those guys who just want sex but no commitment.
i unfortunately seem to keep falling for those avoidant types myself. they just want the fantasy of me but not the real me. it sucks smh
You probably answered your own question, Paula. Most are too lazy to get out and make the effort, and I suppose I am in that group also
