Girls do you like it when you take the initiative and ask the guy out or do you prefer the other way around?

As a guy who has no pick up game I prefer the girl ask me I got zero one liners and or pick up lines for girls I just say " hey you must get this a lot I just wanted to say you look really beautiful and have a nice day." And I walk away feeling a bit embarrassed other part of me is like yeah you did it.

I’m fine with either way but just a bit of advice to you, don’t overthink approaching a woman if that’s what you want to do. You don’t have to be a big finessed or great with words, just confident when you approach. I met my current boyfriend at a bar and his way of starting the conversation was asking to buy me a drink lol nothing fancy, but even simple things like that will suffice.
