A guy had crush on me and I rejected him. So he keeps pursuing me every single day to be met with my cold treatment. He would look at me from far away and admire me. As we were in the same institution, he would come to see me every break hour and never cared for what others said. He didn't even mind teachers catching him or warning him and he never acted this crazy for any girl. This continued until the end of the academic year where he got into some serious trouble with teachers. As we were from a conservative school, there is a high chance teachers bought up our topic in the issue to their gain. From then onn I never saw him in school.
Years later I realized my mistake and how it might impacted him and went to apologize him.
Thats when I realize that he met a new girl who cheated on him and broke the relation. She looks slightly similar to me, shared my interest, hobbies and even my skin tone. And then she cheated on him. And that was hard for him.
He not only didn't forgive me but acted cold and stranger.
My question is
1. Was that even love?
2. Why can't he forgive someone who has realized their mistake?
