The guy i’m dating never asked me to be his girlfriend but believed we are, what should I do now?

The guy I’m dating thought we were boyfriend and girlfriend after 1 month but i need to know someone more before I get to that decision. I was confused because he never asked me or even had a conversation about being exclusive. He asked if i was waiting for us to get closer or if i was just waiting till her did and I told him both. That was about 1.5 months ago and he still hasn’t. I’m not sure if he just thinks we are again and is not gonna ask me or he’s waiting for us to get closer but i think we’re close enough. I don’t want to tell him to ask me out and ruin the moment in the future, but i’m getting impatient lol. Should I wait or tell him?

You need to have this conversation with him, stop waiting for other people to make the moves. If you want your relationships to improve or progress, you are going to have to have uncomfortable conversations with people.

Do you act like his girlfriend you treat him like he’s your boyfriend what would be different if he were to ask you to be his girlfriend it what do you think of your actual day-to-day relationship change does he introduce you as his girlfriend?

When you told him you wanted to get closer to him before he became his girlfriend and that you also wanted him to actually ask you to be his girlfriend some point he probably thinks that this is still the state you’re in and that nothing has changed since then and you’re still waiting to get closer so that’s why he’s waiting to ask you you need to let him know pretty directly that you feel close enough to him to where you can be boyfriend and girlfriend if he if he should ever ask you just pretty much tell him this straight up so there’s no confusion. if you’re too nervous to do it face-to-face just do it in a text one day when you’re saying you’re good nights or whatever just text him and say something like:
“Remember when we had that conversation a couple months ago and I wasn’t close enough to you at that point to feel like I could be a girlfriend. Well I just wanted you to know for sure that I definitely feel like I am close enough to you now and I have no reservations about us being a good couple so so now that that’s out-of-the-way it’s just you know it’s kind up to you to make it official If you still feel the same way about me so just no pressure to say anything or and or ask me anything right now but I just want to let you know that I have definitely feel close enough to you to be a girlfriend if you asked me to.
