I hate when guys have crushes on me… how to get over this feeling?

I don’t get many guys having a crush on me but there would be a couple guys who are very handsome and they have the qualities im looking for in a man.. I usually stonewall them bc im afraid that they won’t like me anymore after they get to know me.

im not very smart/ bright… I can be very slow and I know that’s a turnoff to anybody.. it’s happened.. but I just hate when they know who I really am.. I have some things im good at

but when I would fall out with a friend or family member … they would call me dumb, stupid… and a family member once said “no one wants you around bc you’re so slow”… I’ve been called that my whole life.
