Question:

Are guys who are bloggers/vloggers nicer or more romantic/sensitive in relationships than non-blogger/vlogger guys?

Basically- are they ‘Boyfriend Material?’ With good reason?

I feel like blogging or being a social media celebrity, as a guy, means they’re more expressive and have decent-to-proficient communication skills.

They will be a bit more goofy, possibly outdoorsy/active, and feature other people (whom they socialize with). They may have a pet and/or girlfriend, and despite their possible pranks and pda with their boo, I feel like these guys are less “fwb” type/ hook up type, and hopefully for the hopeless romantics out there- not a player, lol

so what do you think? If you have a selection of YouTubers you watch, do you think those guy influencers are relationship-worthy?

If they’re able to manage editing videos and influencing- they can probably lead in a relationship also, no?

at least one of the guys in these examples... was a cheater

also... all of the traits existed way before socials existed

many people would have these and other good traits without the need of being an influencer

and many of them do not even have time for relationships in the first place... they prioritize other things rather than a personal life

You make a valid point about the age of social media, but would you agree that the males who have media influence, have that as a *good indicator* towards being ‘bf material?’

I really don't think it is the safest choice...

they want to be the star of their story... and to be followed

and also for a thirst of new, lol... I am sure there are many great couples out there, but you often hear about those who cheat and change partners like it's underwear

Also that’s a gamer moreso, than someone who blogs their daily life activities. One who’s a blogger is assumed to be more active, engaged in community/society, and have a decent amount of friendship circles. They’re social, they’re active, they can be adventurous, and a bit of a humanitarian. It’s okay, though. You aren’t alone when you’d disagree with me lol It seems all of GaG believes YouTubers are narcissists and also shallow/ just-not-genuine.

I also have to wonder how many on GaG also have success in their social circles and intimate relationships 🥲. No judgement. Just me speculating, ofc.

But yeah, I will be versatile and even say I could date someone who sold video games, if he and I had vibed well and he possessed likable traits I have already noticed/ observed from YouTuber- VLOGGERS*

Could I be wrong in my observations? Possible

Other. I’ve dated an influencer before. He was very cool, fun, sweet, and romantic. But he was still a fckin fckboy hoe 😂 He wanted all the perks of having a girlfriend but didn't want the actual commitment label and wanted to still be able to flirt his ass off. Like nahh

I wouldn't know, any chance of it being relevant would depend more on the content they cover. The two advantages they'd have would be a sense of humor and skills in presentation. Those would make it easier to meet women and get laid, not necessarily carry over to a relationship, cheating, or being a better boyfriend, even the income is so wildly different that it could range from an "influencer" making the same as working at wendy's to being a millionaire.

I don't know, and wouldn't know as I'm not an influencer, but lean towards thinking it's irrelevant if that answer was taken away.
