My parents and grandma have met my boyfriend and I’ve met his entries family. From my end tho, my younger sister won’t and refuses to come out and meet my boyfriend…. my boyfriend is a funny type of a guy and he sent a funny voice message to my sister (a funny Donald Duck voice) as a joke to get her attention and she took it the wrong way - but personally I think it was just an excuse that she’s using cuz she’s a difficult person when it comes to socializing in general.

It’s not a problem if you don’t turn it into one. You already know your sis is bad at socializing so there’s no reason to treat the situation as if she is solely uninvolved with him. When she’s ready to meet him she will and just tell your boyfriend not to take it personally.

There are no expectations coming into this social interaction and she did meet my last boyfriend and was comfortable 4 years ago…she’s 28ish
