Do guys feel obligated to date a girl just because she made the first move?

Every guy I've liked, I pretty much always made the first move. It usually doesn't last long, so I wonder if they didn't like me back and only said yes because I asked.

If I'm not interested back, then I won't date her. However, if she asked me, then I'll probably try harder, because I don't have to wonder about how much she actually wants me (because she asked).
