Because when you date someone you want to take care of them and keep them happy, fulfill there wishes and for that you need to be established, according to me.
Don’t like to feel inferior like I can’t afford anything.
Because women dont want to date guys who aren't established.
Women prefer to wait at the finish line instead of running along
Not very sure myself. I don't think it's a good idea to postpone dating.
I’d say he wants to do that so he can date seriously with marriage in mind. That way he can support a spouse.
Because in general women want a man with a future. A man thats established is going to get farther than a man who hasn't accomplished anything in his life.
Because women seek status. It's a smart move.

@devilish-cutie A man can't make a woman get married to him. If she thinks he isn't ready, then he isn't ready. Her standards, in effect, become the rule, by default.
I have never seen a woman telling a guy she loves that she won't be with him cause he is poor/dont have money. Some women may be that way but id hardly say its a rule. When a woman falls in love she wants to be with that guy regardless. But if a man is not putting an effort to better his life and is doing nothing than that can be an issue.

Yeah maybe a lot of women are materialistic, i may just not be a typical one I don't know. but i know my friends dated guys that were poor and its more about who you like than how much a guy earns

I think part of it has to do with religion, maybe. Because many of the girls I am interested in are Christians. And they somehow have this idea in their head that they are required to have babies (which I don't really agree with.) So they want to marry a rich guy so they can be a stay-at-home mom.
Maybe they are just too conservative, not every woman wants to be stay at home mom. As a guy i wouldn't bother w women like that but ask myself why i even want a woman like that, trust me there are very different women than thwt if that has been your experience
