Its difficult. Sexuality is such an important part of so many people's lives. But there are men with little or no interest in sex, and you should be able to find them.
I can understand how frustrating it is when you just want a friend.

Do you know how often the average guy gets asked out by women or hit on at all? Not very much, probably a few times a year.
So what do these men do? They ask out women at an extraordinary rate to make up for all the women not asking them out.
Me? I'm not going to bother you about a relationship if you don't seem at all interested. I'm too prideful to be rejected over and over again.
For most men, myself included, friendship is not enough. If that is what you want, you’ll need to explicitly state it.
If you're meeting guys at clubs and bars, unless they're gay clubs and bars, that is pretty much expected.
