I personally thought of these :D but to be honest I have yet to try actual "dating" (going on dates with different and unknown people). I usually went out with someone I already knew, but it never worked out in the end. :(
1. Do you know/like this place? if yes then - Do you come here often?
2. What's your most ordered drink (or meal)?
3. How's the food/coffee? (I'm a foodie, I'd prefer some food-related date)
4. How was your day? (ideally I'd meet on Friday's late afternoon or in the evening)
5. What do you do (if I don't already know) and where do your work?
6. What kind of music do you like? --- a boring classic but I believe music helps significantly
7. Are you more of a homebody or a traveler?
8. Which school did you go to? Do you miss it?
9. Favorite piece of clothing that you own?
10. Any plans for the weekend? (or any other day with free time to hint on wanting to make more plans with him)
Please share what else do you think is important to ask your date about. I can imagine many people would say either: hobbies, body count and things like that... I personally think those are extremely risky.

Also some Would You Rather…? questions are great.
Personally I wouldn't ask about school, but then anyone I was on a theoretical date with would have been out of school for 20 years.
All you questions are pretty standard. Really first date is just finding out more about them and whether you click in person.
Noted. I guess it's my age that made me think of school (yet I've always hated school, have been a rebel and always will be lol).
Do you think a kiss should happen on 1st date if it goes well? Even if you don't know each other that well?
Depends on vibe. If you really click and you both want to sure, but there's no rush. If the two of you are going to date, you'll have plenty of time. Don't be pressured into anything you don't want to do
