I keep it as a memory of her. I don’t want to forget her or forget what she looked like. I never got the chance to ever see her in person but we would talk on the phone for hours and hours. She told me she had lost feelings for me which is a lie. She actually met another guy most likely. She won’t ever come back again. I deleted everything about her. All I have is a picture of her. Well, a little more than that I decided to keep. I have two pictures and a video.

Is it okay to keep just one picture of a girl that you really loved that is now gone forever?
You should keep pictures of everyone you know in life. I don't mean casual acquaintances, but people you actually knew.
It's also a good idea to keep voice recordings if you can. When someone is gone, it's talking to them you miss the most. It's always nice to have pictures, but talking to them is what really connects you to a person. Voice evokes far stronger memories than pictures.
As you get older you'll probably really regret the pictures you never took, you lost, or didn't keep.
Who we are comes from all the experiences we have in life, with the people being a major part of that. Throwing away people from our past is throwing away part of ourselves.
You NEVER MET HER. You didn't have a relationship. You lived in a fantasy land which is desperate and pathetic. You need therapy to address your fears about living in the real world.
And you need to let go of that picture. Holding on to the memory of a fantasy is so counterproductive!
I don't like when people say things like it wasn't a real relationship when clearly to you it was. But honestly I would say to delete the pictures because it will just keep that pain of losing her in your heart. You should hope to forget her completely so you lose feelings for her fully and be able to move on.
I generally have more than one picture of the women from my past relationships... for history and memory purposes. After all, they were a part of my life, helping me become who I am today. Can't just forget that.

if you want to keep a photo for some time to do that, so be it. But sitting and sulking over and dreaming of her is mind poison.
There's a story about guys living their whole lives trying to get the one they didn't get. She was wasting your time and life. So be it, move on and value a real woman that values you.
Get rid of the pictures and videos. It's obviously not good for your mental health. You're obsessing over a relationship that never was. You're just making yourself feel bad every time you look at pictures or videos of her. Be done with it and get on with your life.
I wouldn't, since it tends to make it hard to move on. Also, I'm not clear if she knows you have them or if you just followed her on insta or something, but on the off chance she doesn't know, definitely don't keep them.
It isn't. Just read the story. There was literally nothing going on there, besides some friendship and then she made that very official. I don't think it's worth keeping that picture.
If during your conversations with her, she gave you guidance or help you change and improved your life, then I'll say keep the photos. She's responsible for a milestone in your life.
