Is too thin a turn off?

Question

My boyfriend pointed out that he can feel my individual ribs and how they stick out a lot, and that I’m really thin etc during sex. And he suggested that I eat more, but not in a bad way, we are both just aware I’m low on the BMI scales. But he couldn’t specify if this was a bad or good thing for him? Is too thin of a women a turn off? I don’t look sickly just thin and petite.

Be happy the way you are. You are healthy.

Don’t go eating a bunch of unhealthy foods trying to gain a few pounds for his sake.

You have people out there that are obese and have all sorts of health issues. Most of these people would do anything to have your body type. Some go as far as risky surgeries. Some may even resort to meth to do away with an appetite.

No, a woman that is too thin is not a turn off. Unless she is bulimic or anorexic.

Have you thought of weight training? Adding some muscle might help if you’re becoming self conscious. That is what I am doing. I have issues with losing my dad bod. So I lift weights in order to even things out so to speak. I might have a hard time getting rid of my thirty pack, but I can control my pecs and biceps.

Thinner would be bad definitely, like there is one russian-speaking girl in Greece who occasionally posts on gag who I think is scarily thin but I try to compliment her. Though I wonder whether the hundred other simps are genuine or they attracted to adults who look prepubescent. ﾠ

Mostly a function of personal taste as far as I know. Some people are into the rail-thin super model look and some prefer women to have a little more curve/squish/whatever you want to call it. If your boyfriend isn't complaining then I'd assume it's not something he really even thinks about. Check with a doctor and look into healthy weight gain practices if you're concerned.

Check with your doctor on if you're a healthy weight or not. If not, they can give tips on how to gain and add more calories to your current diet (in a healthy way). I myself am petite and underweight.

I like women who are petite and have small features. The question is what is "too thin?" Without a picture of you, it is impossible to comment on whether you are too thin.

Thin and petite is fine with me. Anorexic and sickly is obviously a different story, but I've known quite a few girls who were built like a greyhound - thin and small framed. Personally, I love them.

To be honest most guys like girls with a little fat on them … that is if the fat is in all the right places if you know what I mean.

That being said, be you. There are guys out there that will love you just how you are and if he doesn't like it someone else will. Don't feel you have to change for him.

That being said, if you want to change change. Having a low BMI can be unhealthy, I don't know the specifics of your situation, get a doctor's opinion and ask yourself why am I this thin. You are young and as the years go by you will naturally pack on pounds unless you are diligent about keeping it off, so again just ask yourself what do you want to do about it.

Petite is absolutely awesome , tidy , correct weight and shape , correct BMI , good muscle tone.

The last thing that is needed in 2023 , is another reason for people to justify being overweight. Now the true anorexic / druggie type look is another thing entirely.
