Nah, if you stopped being in contact with her by her choice then I don't really think you owe her anything in particular with regards to your choices during that time. Just be transparent that you're dating and if she can't handle that then y'all's friendship probably won't happen and if she really does want to be friends with you knowing this then she's probably chill enough about it that there's no need to feel guilty. But you definitely should tell her. If she's on really bad terms with him still that could really hurt someone down the line when she finds out (because she will eventually).
