Let's talk about creativity in relationship: What do you think is the most creative way to ask a girl/guy to be your girlfriend/boyfriend? Have you ever experienced it?
One of my buddies once turned it into a mini treasure hunt. Hear me out; this is actually pretty cool. He and his then-not-yet-girlfriend were both really into puzzles and riddles. So he set up this little quest around their favorite spots in the city, leading her from clue to clue. The final clue was a mirror, and when she picked it up, he was behind her holding a sign that said, "Will you be my girlfriend?" I mean, come on! That's movie-level stuff right there!
Or how about using technology to your advantage? I've heard of folks getting really creative with custom-made videos or even websites. Imagine sending your crush a link, they click on it, and boom, it's a webpage full of your favorite shared memories, inside jokes, and maybe even a cute video message from you at the end. If you both love tech, this could be a hit.
For the artistically inclined, you could get all artsy-fartsy and create something meaningful. Whether it's a painting, a song, or even a short story where the characters in the tale resemble you two, it's a super personal way to ask that big question. And the best part? It's a keepsake they can cherish forever.
Now, not to put a damper on things, but a word of caution: Make sure your grand gesture vibes with their personality. What you find heart-meltingly romantic might be way too over-the-top for someone else. So, if they're more the shy, introverted type, maybe save the flash mob proposal for another occasion, yeah?

Ask her about it in the morning when you're both waking up. The mood she’s in will make or break the conversation
I am very forward when it comes to that, and it has backfired on me many times.

I think asking someone to be your boyfriend or girlfriend is sort of awkward and kind of dorky. To be honest. It's not like you're asking them to get married. In the times in my life when I've had girlfriends we become girlfriend and boyfriend just sort of naturally over time without it being made explicit or even needing to be made explicit. Nonetheless, the result for the short amount of time it typically lasted was satisfying.
It says you are 27, do people after the age of 20 seriously still have to ask a woman / man to be your boyfriend / girlfriend? I mean at some point you two are just dating, and its given.
I just say to her, do feel comfortable in being in a committed relationship with me at this. point?
She basically says yes or no and all you say is okay I assumed so , but was just checking.

I don't know. I was really awkward with this stuff. I just sort of let my actions do the talking. After a whilecitvjust became fact. I wish I was better at this
Rocky Balboa approach.. Aye yo Adrian. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind marrying me so much lol. Just change marry to be my girlfriend/boyfriend.
If this doesn't work the other person is a deadbeat lol
Why do you need to ask? Make it just happen.
