I have been speaking to a girl for a few girls and we started talking seriously about us and our future plans including things like future kids. She's from my city but studies in another city which means she's in the other city most of the time for at least the next 8 months.
Recently while planning a visit to her, she said she's been thinking and she feels she wants to slow down as she feels it's important we click first. I must point out that we ave not been physical with eachother.
In a bid to get clarity, I asked if she wants to end things completely or just take it slow and she said ''just take it slow''. She says she's attracted to me, thinks I am lovely but something just doesn't seem right yet and she just wants to bring it up with me. Every now again, she says she appreciates me and uses heart emojis when we write to eachother.
I have had a difficult time connecting with men these past 2 years but this girl really came and changed all that and all my previous fears about relationships seem to have vanished as I really see a future with this girl, I pretty much have not felt this way in ages.
I have always been a very confident person, have my guard up and without blowing my own trumpet, i've been a guy women throw themselves at. This girl has really got me in my feelings where I am not even interested in the thought of anyone else. In a way, I like this side of me she seems to have oppened up.
Any clues on how to handle this? How do I give her space, slow it down and still get the girl of my dreams? I am in no rush to get physical, quite the contrary, I want to build something meaningful with her before getting physical.
