Why won’t most of my family accept that I like white guys?

I’m a black young woman and I’ve always crushes on white men. Don’t get my wrong, I love my brothers and black men are sexy but I just find white men sexier. I know most people prefer to stick with their own race or approach a man of woman their own race but you don’t choose who you fall in love with. I’m also a tall girl so most guys don’t like bigger girls but most blacks or black Africans do. I get approached by a lot of black and black African men. Nothing wrong with that but I prefer white men but my parents told me I need to leave those white boys alone and they’re nothing but trouble. My dad said the white guys don’t want me and prefer white women. STICK WITH YOUR OWN KIND. Most of my family says I’m ashamed of my brothers and I’m not. It’s called a preference. I got rejected by five white boys. If course the personality is important but come on. I’m 5’10” and over 200 pounds (not telling your my weight). so I’m taller than most guys or same height so most guys my height or shorter approach me even though I prefer taller men. I gotta lose this weight so I can look goods. I’m wanna be fit and slimmer but keep my curves. No man wants a stick figure woman. How can I get my parents to understand that I have preferences and stop setting me up with only black guys?
