We’ve been texting only for a week. He’s from Brazil and he’s English is not the best. We had really good connection on the phone and he’s exactly my type. We went on a date, it was really really nice, he drove me back home, we hugged and kissed and he said that he really enjoyed the time with me and he’s very happy that he meet me etc etc. he was super sweet, paying attention to everything what I said, you can tell he’s very sensitive too. And when I was saying my goodbye he hugged me, kiss me again and said he loves me. I pretended I didn’t hear that, he didn’t repeat it. I don’t know if he meant something else but because his English is not good he messed up. Or he’s just this type of guy that it’s gonna overwhelm me with his love, or it’s like a red flag like he’s trying to manipulate me? I’m thinking and I just don’t know what to do about it. He seems sensitive and emotional, sweet and kind, even if he has some feelings he shouldn’t say it so quick right?

Hard to say. A lot of other cultures, men are like that. Not sure why here in the US (I’m assuming this is where you’re at) people always try to play tough and oh I won’t call first etc..


I would just watch it and see how his other actions follow but don’t look too much into it. Just be sure he’s not too forward where it’s uncomfortable for you.. but besides that enjoy the ride. A lot of other cultures are more affectionate than American.
