I wish if guys loved a girl for her personality and actual self. rather then being with her for body and looks?

It’s true some will say that personality matters and blah blah. But if we actually look at it. 9 out of the 10 will choose beauty over anything. Beauty is important for them and that’s the first thing they notice about a girl as well. Girls too some date only for how hot or cute the guy is. I just wish if it was less of that and we could actually for once be ourselves without putting beauty first.

one of the biggest lies society loves to preach is the importance of personality and while it is important it gets prioritized later in favor of physical attractiveness

it doesn't matter how friendly, compassionate, honorable or intelligent, someone is if others don't look the way he/she looks. that's the unfortunate part of the world that Mother Nature has ingrained in us

a good personality sounds great on paper but has no survival value. good genes and the ability to generate resources are indicators of attractiveness. people tend to hang out with friends who share the same personality anyways but the difference between a friend and a boyfriend/girlfriend is physical attractiveness

therefore looks matter for both men and women despite the virtue signaling

Most guys can't get a woman. A woman gets to pick and choose men based on their looks. So it's women that pick those types of men. Stop blaming men for your choices.

That is not true. All men pick women based on their looks. Otherwise there would not have been types.
