Have you noticed that men who have sisters are much more popular among girls?

Question

I have a brother, who is very popular with women.

He goes out and gets asked out by pretty girls all the time.

We used to live together and he invited his guy friends over, we used to chat and play for hours.

I have noticed his guy friends who have sisters are also much more smooth to communicate with.

He also brought super pretty girls home very often, most of which were the ones who asked him out themselves.

I guess, men with sister are just better equipped to understand women and they also have better time getting along with them, so they can find it easier to impress girls. Is that so?

Yes, I strongly believe that when a man has a sister, it helps them quite a lot when it comes to learning how to interact and communicate with women.

I have a sister myself, and I believe growing up with her has helped me learn how to act normal around women.

Men without exposure to girls growing up probably view girls as these magical creatures that they have no idea how to handle.

When the reality is that girls and guys are both human. So, relax. It’s okay. Calm down, haha.

If you learn how to talk to girls in normal everyday contexts, it’s not so different when you’re doing the same with a girl you’re interested in.

Guys with sisters can bridge that gap with more ease, since they’ve had exposure and practice.

Also, if a brother has a protective or nurturing nature, that’ll also be practiced with his sister.

So, when a guy gets a girlfriend, he’ll know how to be protective and nurturing towards her as well.

There are so many ways in which having a brother or sister will help you when it comes to dating and relationships.

I would say there's some element of truth to that, yeah. When we were kids it definitely did seem to be that way with me and mine. She passed away years back so I would be curious to know what it would be like now as adults if she were still alive.

Depends how they get along with their sisters. I have 2 sisters, and back when I was presenting as a man one of my friends did like me more bc of how I acted toward my youngest sister. But then I was a dick to the older sister, and she told me off for it and said she didn't like me anymore. So that was a lesson I didn't rlly learn at the time. Women who like you after seeing u be mean to another woman, are a lot less interested in having a healthy relationship..

My boyfriend is my best friends brother and I can actually say that he was quite popular among his sister’s friends. So I think that by being around us it made him better able to talk to women. He was more comfortable talking to women. I’m just glad that I’m the end he discovered the best one for him was right there all along!

Yes this is for the most part true. Because men who grow up with sisters learn how women communicate earlier, it becomes more 'natural' to them.
Men who grow up around just dudes usually will have to figure it out later on.

Same goes for girls, but the other way around. Girls grown up with brothers or in boy-gangs as kids, they tend to be more direct and are very sought after by men because communication is more similar.

Yes, men who have sisters know what girls are from an early age and can deal with them appropriately.

The same is true of girls who have bothers, they are far better at managing relationships with men.

There is an enormous benefit to having siblings of the opposite sex.

It totally depends on what the sister is like. If the sister is a control freak dominance-dungeon feminist, a boy growing up has zero experience of what most women feel, enjoy and want.

To learn that requires a generation away from the female sibling, so they may become very popular later in life, but as a young man, they are uniquely unable to interact with women.

Yeah I do think that's true to an extent. As others said, it depends on your relationship with your sister as well. I wasn't that close with sister (who was older) than me. Growing up I would hear her complaining about men. I didn't get advice. She left the house as soon as she turned 18. Truth be told I grew up in a household in which I couldn't date in high school and was discouraged until I finished school anyway (at least under parents roof). Plus my parents were arranged.

Well im not sure if thats true or not but as someone who had two sisters growing up i do feel like i get along well with women more often than guys who don't have them. I still had my share of difficulties with women growing up though. nowadays not so much.
