I matched with this guy on Tinder. He’s very good looking and too good to be true.
I initiated the conversation two days ago and since then we haven’t stopped talking. Things moved to WhatsApp pretty quickly. We text quite a lot throughout the day, and then at night we text more. The conversation was quite flirty to begin with and sexual, but as we have started to talk more we’ve opened up more and spoken about deeper topics. We have a lot in common too.
On his Tinder profile he has linked his Instagram account. I looked and he has 600+ followers. I checked Facebook and I found him. There’s photos on there from 2021. Only when I checked who’d liked then, every like was a girl. Some photos had 80+ likes and they’re all girls.
He seems genuine. But I can’t stop worrying that he’s a catfish. Like why would so many girls be liking his photos? He tells me that he’s looking for a serious relationship. He says that he is hopeful that could be with me if things work out. He says most of the girls he comes across are only after one thing. He’s sent me photos of himself, but I can’t help but doubt this whole thing. He wants to progress to phone calls and meeting soon. He keeps talking about taking me on dates.
