Girls, Do girls appreciate it when a guy takes it slower when you start dating?

So I had a couple good dates with a girl, and at the end of the second date I held off on asking for another, and asked her 4 days later. She said she's really busy this week but she did say she's down to do another. My sister happens to be one of her roommates and she gives me inside info. According to her she said that she agreed because she felt comfortable compared to when other guys ask her for a 3rd date, saying they see it as moving into a relationship whereas I seem to not "rush it". The way I asked was along the lines of do you wanna go on another date to get to know each other more, something like that.

So when girls start dating are they cautious about how fast guys go into it?

It depends on the woman and depends on what they are after. If you are truly clueless, you can always just ask if she thinks you're moving too fast (or not fast enough!)
