So this guy had a deep crush on me since high school days. He asked for a friendship with me and I agreed with it but deep down I'm not interested in being in a relationship with him anyways. However I was simply being nice so I agreed his friendship. He used to start conversations, respond very soon to my texts earlier. I only used to talk to him regarding the things which I need to talk about such as general discussions related to topics other than love. He expected more from me but I used to ignore his feelings. I hang out with other guys, I speak to other guys, I have friendships with other guys deeper than the friendship I have with this guy. He knows it but still he continues friendship with me without restricting me friendships with other guys. He might be jealous inside I don't know. He never expressed it. But I used to flirt, hang out with other guys right in front of him and it's been a long time we hadn't spoke since I didn't care to talk to him or give him any hopes. I simply used to ignore him like he doesn't matter to me and only used to talk to him when I need some advice, etc. After few days gap I texted him to ask him regarding some advice and he seen the text but haven't responded. I don't know if he's trying to manipulate me or if something might be the issue. I'm acting cool not to react and not interested to double text him either but want to know why he's doing like that? If he doesn't respond to my text, will I lose my future relationships or opportunities with any other guys whom I may want to be in relationship with?
