Why would a guy who close friends with a girl act surprised when she wasn’t interested in speaking to him?

He cut all of contact with her and they haven’t each other in two years. When she used to try to call him he would quickly get off the phone and said I’ll call you back, but he never does. Or he’ll never answer her calls. He changed his phone number. Why would he act so shock she doesn’t care about him?

Yo that's crazy how he's acting surprised. If he was like ghostin her for 2 years and never hit her back then obviously she ain't gonna care no more. Like what did he expect? That she was just gonna be waiting around for him still interested after he kept bailing. He prob shoulda thought about how his actions would make her feel before he did all that. Acting all surprised now is just stupid. If you want someone to care you gotta put in the effort and actually be a good friend to them, not ignore them for years!
