Do men love innocence?

Question

I just had a very nice 3 hour tea time in a cafe with a closest guy friend I have here, he leaves China very soon.

We talked a lot, I loved it.

He told me a lot of interesting things, one of which was “Men can sniff off women’s innocence and they love it. They start wanting to have you. You have that innocence in you. You leave an impression of a fun naive girl you want to get in your arms and save. That’s a good thing that you always take things slow, because I can see a lot of guys attracted to that trait of yours and some might even try to take advantage of you.”

I told him I have - not so innocent side too, just I don’t show it to people unless I am close to them and trust them.

To which he answered “You don’t lead with that side of yours and that makes you even better.”

I wonder is that true that men really like this trait?

I really enjoyed talking with him, he always has something interesting to say.

Translation: I like to smell women's bits but I don't like to smell creampies.
What he's thinking: he's thinking about how he likes virginal girls and in the context of China that means young, very young.

"They start wanting to have you."
Translation: If you're a virgin or have a low body count then you're desirable but only if you're a virgin or have a low body count.
What he's thinking: he's thinking about defiling and ruining your innocence, which is a sexual power play because he gets to go there while you're "innocent" and devalue you for others according to his views

"You have that innocence in you."
Translation: I don't think you have been defiled and you might even be a virgin.
What he's thinking: You're the perfect target: naive, dumb and easy.

"You leave an impression of a fun naive girl you want to get in your arms and save."
Translation: he wants to save you by "pushing you down," which is a euphemism for non-consensual sex and a form of mockery
What he's thinking: that women are not the equals of men and that you're easy to manipulate

Translation: I don't want a girl that isn't a virgin or has a high body count and I think you're so naive that you're stupid and won't see me coming from a mile away

Different guys like different things.

But, usually I’d say that men like a ‘good girl’ exterior with a naughty side in the bedroom.

It’s that, “Lady in the streets but a freak in the sheets.” expression.

That seems to strike a balance.

Kind of like, a woman may like a man that’s a gentleman, but at the same time knows how to truly dominate her in the bedroom and have rough passionate sex.

It’s that juxtaposition.

That balance of light and dark energy.

I do like innocence, because to me that is a woman who wants a real relationship. I have talked to women who are not that innocent, and a lot of them do not want a relationship; they just want to bang.

I am not saying that all women are in it for pleasure. There are some who do want a relationship, but they are hard to find. No woman is the same. They all are looking for different things. And most good men are looking for the right woman, not any woman!!! We ask a lot of questions in order to make sure we have the right woman for us. Some, she is innocent, but strong and knows her value!!! Some, she is not that innocent, and adventurous; those men enjoy spontaneity of these women.

Ladies, be yourself!! The right man will pick up on your vibe, and you both will be great together.

The only men you must watch out for are the predators. They are always looking for girls over women. They want someone who is not knowledgeable in life. They are manipulative, and know how to talk you into a very bad situation, where they can take advantage of you, and pass you on to others just like them.

Yes. Especially in attractive women. It’s a mark of desirability amongst many suitors. Women who are blessed in that regard can afford to make men wait with so many choices at their disposal. Having a desire to shed that innocence is a one two punch.

There is a potential downside, being sheltered from the real world. Women of this caliber can sometimes be coddled into perpetual naivety. They may not truly grow as individuals because they’re never truly challenged. In a way, their physical strengths may make them weak in character.

Yes, most men find innocence very endeering in a woman. And women find wordliness attractive in a man. It's the yin and yang of human attraction.

It's interesting how times have changed. Decades ago, before society began trying so hard to blur the lines between men and women, between masculinity and femininty, and to questions whether those thinges actually exist, eveyone knew the answer to your question, and they understood why. We have moved backward rather than forward in so many ways.

For a serious relationship... absolutely. Not a requirement, but definitely adds to the appeal.

For a short term, serious relationship.. nope. They want someone they can't get attached to.

Looking for sex ( either short term relationship until they get it or hook up)... yes. It's an ego thing.

There are those who want sex so bad they won't even consider an innocent girl in a relationship do to the lack of sex.

Good moral men like innocence because it usually means she has good morals too. Things such as no past of doing drugs, getting drunk, having casual sex, using/scamming someone, etc.
