After first date with a guy, he suggested a second date. I did have a good time as well so agreed to meet again.

He texted that he "can't wait" to see me. Is that too desperate, red flag, etc?

I've also seen guys texting that they missed me after first date.

Guys, have you encountered women/girls that said they missed you or can't wait to see you after first date?

No, it’s nice! If he said that he was looking forward to it would it sound less desperate? It’s the same thing. Don’t consider it a red flag. A nice guy isn’t a red flag.

We haven't had third date planned yet, although we're considering a few options.

We've had long text conversations during the week, and once in a while he'd throw in a "can't wait" or "can't wait to see you" when he complimented on me.
